The challenge is the same for the major supplier reporting to the IRS EXSTARS system and multiple states or the small distributor with a few convenience stores. While there have been systems that addressed these problems, Fuel Tracker Plus is the first system designed to handle all levels of refined products reporting, and readily interface with your existing accounting or logistics system. Or, if you prefer we can gather data straight from the various pipeline and terminal data transmission systems.
Fuel Tracker Plus Features:
Fuel Tracker Plus is a system designed for business people and is very easy to use and understand. The system does not require years of data processing experience to operate.
The system can extract motor fuel transaction data directly from you existing accounting or logistics system or directly from your data source. Whether the transaction is entered manually or loaded automatically the data is always edited and verified. Only after the transactions have passed editing and verification, regulatory and management reports are prepared. These reports can both be printed and mailed or transmitted electronically using EDI or any accepted text file format. If you prefer we can collect the transaction data and file the reports for you.
Besides solving your regulatory problems, because Fuel Tracker Plus is a real time system, it can help you solve your inventory management problems with the built in inventory module.
Using the automatic update feature Fuel Tracker Plus will always keep your business updated with the latest State and Federal filing requirements. This includes any form changes or EDI filing changes. Our maintenance of the system ensures that you are always in compliance with your refined products regulatory reporting requirements.
Fuel Tracker Plus is designed using FTA standards and Innovative Software Solutions will continually monitor the FTA for standards updates or additions.
Dependent on the setup, the system can be designed to interface with SAP for master data updates automatically from a batch process controlled by your team.
Reconciliation and Consistency:
Motor fuel taxation is dependant on truck rack transactions. The position holder, supplier, distributor, and common carrier all receive and record individual bills of lading or transaction data. Because Fuel Tracker Plus is designed for every user in the business, you will minimize your own reconciliation problems and the number of questions you get from government agencies. Your reporting will be much more accurate. If you are a government agency, Fuel Tracker Plus can be used as a reconciliation tool to identify reporting inconsistencies.
System Design:
Fuel Tracker Plus is a client / server application that can run on either a single PC running Microsoft Windows with the desktop version of SQL Server or in a network environment as a multi user system using SQL Server. As a result the number of users is limited only by your Microsoft license. If required, Fuel Tracker Plus can be adapted for Oracle in a multi user environment.
